North West Star bus employees down tools amid alleged financial misconduct by the company

North West Star bus commuters left stranded following a tools down by the drivers who are accusing the bus company of misconduct.

The employees of the company have been on strike for the past two days saying monthly payments have been deducted from their salaries for the past 10 months for pension money but they [Company] haven’t been paying provident fund since then.

The company have reportedly been suffering financial loses nationwide due to Covid-19 lockdown.

North West Star which is also a subsidiary of North West Transport Investment have been marred by allegations of misconduct and mismanagement for quite some time.

Employees also went on strike mid year 2020 due to no salary payments.
