Gauteng Education Department apologises for glitches on online applications

Gauteng Department of Basic Education apologised for delays and glitches parents may have come across when trying to applying for their children for grade R.
The online application was launched Thursday.
Department received number of complaints from parents who said despite the the system being three (3) old the department has still not improved it.
The department said they had received 140 106 applications by the end of business day on Thursday.
