Woman stabs man with a broken bottle in a domestic dispute

Police have confirmed an arrest of a 30 years old woman following of the death of a 29 years old man during a domestic dispute.

It is alleged according to an official report by the police that on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at about 03:05, they were summoned to a complaint of a domestic dispute in Phahameng, Free State.On arrival, members found an adult male lying motionless on the ground, with a stab wound to the ear.

According to information given to thw police, an argument erupted between the couple when the female suspect allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a broken bottle.

He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services.As a result, the 30-year-old female suspect was subsequently arrested for murder.

She will appear in the Bultfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 31 March 2025.
