A case against the 46 years old woman Anelle de Bruin who made a plot to have her husband murdered has been postponed to April 23, 2025.

The matter was postponed after making a brief appearance at the Aliwal North Magistrates’ Court where the prosecution applied for postponement for further investigations as there are still some outstanding statements, photo albums and cell phone records.

De Bruin is charged with conspiracy to murder after she was arrested on 09 January 2025.

The matter will be back in court on 23 April 2025, with the accused still out on R2000 bail, with special conditions that she does not return to the farm and have supervised visits of their children.
