Daughter denied bail for the murder of her father

A murder case against a 27 years old woman who is also a daughter to the deceased has been postponed to April 11th, 2024 pending further investigations.
It is said according information by the NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi in Limpopo that Mologadi Magdeline Mehlape conspired with four other suspects, Tshepo Gabriel Ranoto, Lehlohonolo Klaas Magatlane, Mahlodi Melida Mathole all said to be aged 34 and 42 years old Sello Molongoane went to the deceased’s home on December 28th, 2023.
Mologadi opened both the gate and door for them and upon gaining entry, they allegedly shot the 56 years old circuit manager of Department of Education, Dr Malekutu Johannes Mehlape over family disputes.
They also fled the scene with several items from the house.
However, it was not long after the incident had occurred that they were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, robbery with aggravated circumstances, possession of unlicensed firearm, and unlicensed ammunition.
Making court appearance and Mankweng Magistrates Court, Mologadi and Matlhodi were the only ones to file a bail application which was denied, while the other ones decided to abandon it.
