Unrecognizable middle-aged man found floating on a stream in Mpumalanga

Police have asked anyone who might have lost or not know the whereabouts of any male family member to visit Tonga SAPS for assistance or call Tonga police on 082 448 9482 alternatively police Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or send information via MySAPS App.
This is after a community at Kamaqhekeza, in Tonga outside Komatipoort alerted the police about a corpse that was found floating on the stream.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said that according to information at their disposal, the unknown person was found floating in the stream that runs across the build-up area next to a bridge on the R571 road from Mananga Port of Entry and Komatipoort that separate Block C and Kamaqhekeza.
Mohlala added that upon their arrival at the scene and investigation, they found the corpse of a middle-aged male with an already unrecognizable face but the body was still intact.
He said it looked like the man had been dead for quite some time and they are yet to know the cause of death.
