20 years old man stabbed to death after celebrating new year

A 26 years old man from a small town in the Eastern Cape, Pearston has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 20 years old man in the early morning hours of new year.
Police say the incident is said to have occurred around 03:30am.
Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli said they received a call about a lifeless body that was found lying at Steenbokkie Street, Nelsig (Pearston).
Upon arrival at the scene they found multiple stab wounds on the upper part of the body.
Further investigations about the matter led the police to the arrest of the said suspect hours later.
He said to make his first court appearance at Somerset East Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 4th.
