The MTN8 first leg semifinals saw Soweto Soccer giants Orlando Pirates and PSL champions Masandawana locking horns at the FNB stadium leading to a 0-0 draw final score Saturday afternoon.
The game was full of entertainment and attacks from both sides with the highlight being captain Andile Jali being made to eat the grass by Monnapule Saleng.
Among frequent trouble makers from the home players were Lepasa and Hotto who gave visitor keeper Williams tough times on several occasions with a highlight free kick in the first half coming from the right side which almost saw the back of the net just to be stopped by the bar.
For the visitors it was as if the striker Shalulile was not there having not made major game changing shots.
Man of the Match was handed to Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo who was making his debut.
