Police Spokesperson Selvy Mohlala said they received information about a robbery that had occurred at Majuba King Petroleum this past Saturday where two men entered the premises armed with firearms and demanded that the safe be opened.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 18:58 when these two males entered the employees office and one pointed him with a pistol and forced him to open the safe. They then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
The two said Fidelity Security officers were linked to the crime after an investigation which also revealed that they used their official work firearms.
