Court interpreter and friend arrested for allegedly killing husband in Mpumalanga

Court appearance today two suspects linked to the murder of late Sergeant Joseph Christopher Kutu of Witbank Tactical Response Team who was fatally shot and killed in July this year.
The two suspects arrested are a 28 years old court interpreter and wife of the said deceased officer and a 39 years old man.
Hawks Spokesperson in Mpumalanga Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi said that they received an information this Tuesday, 14 December of the whereabouts of the suspect linked to a house robbery and murder in Siyabuswa A. The suspect was arrested at the backroom he was renting at.
He was then taken into police custody for further investigation.
“During further investigation the wife of the late police officer was linked and arrested on Thursday 16 December 2021. The duo will appear before the Emalahleni Magistrate Court on Friday ,17 December 2021. Investigation continues” said Captain Sekgotodi.
