The battle for traditional healers to also be recognised as essential service providers seems to have brought good fruits.
Organisations representing traditional healers have been crying foul by the government for not treating them with the same amount of respect they give to the western doctors.
They pleaded with government on several occasions to also be recognised and be included as essential service providers so they can provide consultations for their clients.
Earlier today it was announced that they could now provide services to their clients. But they can only provide services to their clients if they are emergency.
