Community members discovered skeletal human remains in a field

Police in Limpopo have opened an inquest docket following a discovery of human skeletal remains in ploughing field at Luckau, Sterkfontein under Tlhogotlou Policing precinct.

Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said that the members received an alert from community members who working on the field about possible skeletal human remains late Tuesday afternoon.

Upon arrival on the scene, they cordoned the scene and conducted investigations which confirmed that it is indeed human remains.

The identity of the remains is still unknown and being investigated.
