President Ramaphosa deploys SANDF troops to ensure safety of South Africans following jihadist attack in Mozambique

President Matamela Ramaphosa has expressed sadness over the recent developments in the alleged terrorist attacks in Mozambique which left several people dead in the process.
Ramaphosa confirmed earlier today that the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) have already attended to the issue of evacuation of those South Africans who are stranded in Mozambique and already one of those who passed away the South African National Defence Force has brought them back.
Reports by several media houses have said that one of the people who died was Adrian Nel, who is a South African and was killed in the Mozambique attack when he was among dozens of people who attempted to flee the town of Palma on 24 March when Islamic jihadists stormed the town, claiming to have taken control of it.
This is also as the attack and death of a number people was confirmed by the Mozambican government but could not confirm the exact number.
President Ramaphosa said that SANDF is everything in their power to ensure safety of all South Africans in the country.
