South Africa now has a total number of 1 541 563 Covid-19 cases after having recorded 1 554 new cases in the last 24 hours.
This is also as the number of Covid-19 related fatalities continue to grow daily with 163 more deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the 163 more cases, Eastern Cape didn’t record any together with Mpumalanga while Free State accounts for 9, Gauteng 24, Kwa-Zulu Natal 5, Limpopo 71, North West 37, Northern Cape 16 and Western Cape 1 which brings the total to 52 535 deaths.
