Limpopo Police have confirmed a manhunt for suspect involved in a raping of two three-year-old children at Topanama village on Thursday afternoon.

The two children allegedly went to fetch water from a narrow stream not far from their home and met an unknown man wearing blue work suits. The man allegedly threatened them with a sharp object and raped them.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has condemned this incident and has directed the investigators to hunt this man down and bring him to book.

“As the police continue to fight the scourge of crimes perpetrated against women and children, parents and guardians are urged to be vigilant and always look after their children,” concluded General Ledwaba.
