Banyana Banyana thrashes Tunisia 1-0 as they qualify for world cup

Banyana Banyana has once again proved why they are the number national football team and why they deserve all the necessary support after automatically qualifying for 2023 world cup.

Led by Captain Refiloe Jane, Banyana beat Tunisia 1-0 in the Wafcon quarter-finals late Thursday evening.

All thanks Jermaine Seopasenwe who scored in the 14th minute.

Banyana managed to defend their one and only goal throughout the first half to the second half having missed several chances by the same goal scorer Seoposenwe.

The win did not come easy Tunisia also had their fair fight but was not strong enough.

Up next Banyana will face Zambia in semi-final on Mandela day, July 18.

They have become the fourth African country to book their ticket for the 2023 World Cup, joining Zambia, Morocco and Nigeria.
