In these 29 teens, three were 14 year olds. Something which the MEC says calls for a great concern and has called on law enforcement agencies to act because this is rape.
“This is just outright rape there is no way you can get a consensual sex from girls this young” she said.
It is reported that 747 Christmas babies were born in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo of which most were recorded in Gauteng with 403.
197 boys and 206 girls.
Whereas Limpopo recorded the second highest number of births with 253 babies born, 124 boys and 129 girls.
KwaZulu-Natal recorded 91 births, 53 boys and 38 girls. The youngest mother are said to be two 16 year olds.
